A 6-day trek through one of the most beautiful valleys of the ‘Grand Sud’, the Rose Valley (or M'goun Valley), nested at the foot of the High Atlas. The name refers to the colour of the mineral of which the mountains are made.

Arrival at the airport and transfer by minibus or 4WD via El kalâa mgouna (route of 1000 Kasbahs) to Boutaghrar, the starting point of our hike where we will meet the muleteers. Overnight stay in an auberge.
After breakfast we’ll start our trek in the direction of the village of Agouti, where we’ll continue our walk and enter the gorges of Agouti (3km of gorges) to reach the village of Almdoun. Almdoun is a very beautiful, vast plain with a few small hamlets. Overnight stay in tents.
Today we will gradually walk up from the plain and cross several Berber villages. Our next bivouac in Tighremt n’Tichki is set at a height of 2377m.
A steep path will lead us to the Aït Ahmed Pass (2990m), where we'll have a fantastic view on both sides of the mountains. We’ll descend on the other side to the confluence of 2 valleys: Ouililimt Valley and M'goun Valley. Overnight stay in tents near the ruins of an old kasbah.

Whole day of walking in the river through one of the most spectacular areas of southern Morocco, the M'goun Canyon. Overnight stay in tents or in an auberge.
On our last day of hiking we will enter the Rose Valley again, we will cross some pretty, authentic villages (Issoumar,…) to finish our trip in Boutaghrar. Transfer to Ouarzazate, overnight stay in a hotel.
